You would not believe how many people that continue to tell me about the folks in Llano that still report to Jack Patton. When I say report, I mean this in a way that keeps Patton informed on the happenings here in Llano, and it goes so far as helping Patton with his stalking ways of how to continue milking of the Llano School District.
People here in Llano, that should they be named, you would be shocked. People that you thought cared about Llano. People that you would have thought worried about the 35 teachers and their families that now no longer make Llano their homes. People that have advised, whispered, and snaked around Llano, to keep this evil person informed on how he can benefit from our school situation. You see, people that today are still helping Patton, are just as amoral as a person can get…or…they are just as evil and mean. Patton betrayed Llano County and its citizens. Now we are finding out he has help. One question…how insecure would you have to be to have to call Jack Patton your friend? Answer: Not one of these people are brave enough to do that. Their insecurity is making themselves feel important by snitching. Just like Hitler’s snitchers. How pitiful for these people. Weren’t brave enough to stand up to Patton, but weak enough to want to be liked by Jack.
One small group has stepped forward. And those are some of the folks that have put their names in the hat to be appointed to the school board. Several ran in the May election, but people in Llano County did not want them. The reason is they were Patton people. And now two more Patton friends want to be appointed. I would say they would “like to serve,” but that is not their motive. Patton along with his three school board lackies still are trying to “control” the situation.
I have faith in the Committee that will recommend the appointees. I cannot see a pattern in their selection. We hope and have confidence they will not recommend any of the Patton people. But, if they do, we will defeat them next May in the school board election. Promise.
Billy Ratliff has been at the end of the stick with the media and myself for over a year. Advised by many to resign, Billy has stayed for no apparent reason as a board member. Cannot say he has carried Jack Patton’s water, but have not seen him walking to the creek with a bucket either. Billy sided with new Board member Alan Geistman last week in voting to not keep the school attorneys. Even Billy knew the arguments from Chapman, Stephenson, and Kirkman did not hold water in that “these guys know our situation”. Great, the attorneys that have not done one single thing to help LISD, and have cost this school district hundreds of thousands of dollars in bad advice, or in many instances, sat quietly as “Rome burned”, is not what we need for anther year. Horrible mistake. Would it not be nice to have someone on the school districts’ side just once? Thank you Billy.
I will say this one last time. When District Attorney Ronnie Earl in Travis County makes a decision to put on the docket the Patton felony charges, you will see the fur fly. Patton will have to use every weapon available to him to not be convicted on these 5 felony charges against him. He has the ammunition. He can and will use the information he has. Patton knows that elected officials in Llano County benefited from their positions. Benefited in many ways…favors…contracts…power…messaged egos…and with money. Patton goes to the Travis County DA with the right information, and he will be listened to.
Catching an elected official is much more important than
catching an employee. Patton has not played his hole card yet. He will. If he doesn’t,
it means to me, that he is the only one that did anything wrong. Everyone that has
seen the evidence feels differently.
